The first-ever Scotland Model Arctic Council (SCOTMAC) launches tomorrow at the Scottish Association for Marine Science in Oban!  SCOTMAC has previously been featured in Scotland’s The National newspaper, and I’m now very excited that Dr Irene Quaile, a journalist covering Arctic issues since 2007, has written a comprehensive article about SCOTMAC for her ‘Ice-Blog’, entitled ‘In search of consensus in troubled times: Students in Scotland run Model Arctic Council’.  Irene’s article has also been picked up by Radio Canada International.  Many thanks to Irene for presenting SCOTMAC to her readership.
